About RBSK-ASQ and scoring

RBSK-ASQ is a quick three-question screen administered at 15–18 and 18–24 months. It uses two age-specific versions with Yes/No items. The English format is available online in the RBSK Job Aids. Validation data in Indian settings report very high sensitivity and high specificity in the 16–30 month band.

Use with the official item form: NHM RBSK Job Aids. If that link changes, check your state NHM site for the Job Aids PDF.

  • 15–18 months: screen positive if Q1 = No and Q2 = No and Q3 = Yes.
  • 18–24 months: screen positive if Q1 = No and Q3 = No and Q2 = Yes.
