Is IPIP NEO free to use
Yes. IPIP items and scales are public domain. You can copy, translate, and use them without fees. Attribution is good practice.
How is it scored
Each item is rated 1 to 5. Reverse keyed items are flipped 5 to 1. Facets average four items. Domains sum 24 items. If you skip, we prorate from the items you answered.
Are there percentiles
Percentiles need norm tables. We provide a simple estimate by rescaling scores to help understanding. For research or clinical work, use published norms.
Do you store my answers
No. Autosave is local on your device. The share link encodes your answers in the URL on your device only.
Is this diagnostic
