Healing isn’t about fixing what is broken. It is about discovering what is strong.

About Me: Joyson Joy P, Creator of PsychKit

Hello, and welcome. I am Joyson.

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (RCI License: A73628) and currently a researcher in the psychology of performance and well-being.

My journey in mental health has been diverse, from working with the brave personnel of the Indian Navy to supporting brilliant young minds at IIT Palakkad and conducting advanced neurological and psychological research at NIMHANS, PGIMER, Chandigarh and RINPAS, Ranchi.

However, behind these titles, I am simply a student of human nature. I believe that every person carries a unique story that deserves to be heard without judgment. I am not here to act as an “expert” who tells you how to live, but as a trained facilitator who walks alongside you as you navigate your own path to clarity.

Whether you are dealing with anxiety, navigating relationship complexities, or an athlete looking to improve your mental game, I am here to offer a scientifically grounded yet deeply human space for you.

My Philosophy of Practice

1. You are the Expert on Your Life. I bring the tools of psychology (CBT, DBT, REBT, Transference Focused Psychotherapy and Neuropsychology), but you bring the experience of being you. We work as a team.

2. Therapy is a Safe Harbor. I believe therapy should be a sanctuary: a place where you can take off the “mask” you wear for the world. In my practice, confidentiality is not just a rule; it is a sacred trust.

3. Focus on Healing, Not Just Paperwork. I have consciously chosen to keep my private practice strictly focused on clinical psychotherapy and emotional well-being. I do not engage in issuing legal certificates, court reports, or disability documents. This boundary ensures that our time together is spent 100% on your growth, not on administrative formalities.

Start Your Journey: The Intake Process

To maintain the highest standard of safety and privacy for both of us, I use a secure verification process before we meet.

Why is there a verification form?
You might notice that my intake form asks for ID verification and includes a mandatory declaration.

  • Safety: This ensures that every person entering this space is genuine, protecting the therapeutic environment.
  • Clarity: It confirms that we are meeting for therapy, not for legal or statutory certificates.

How to Book:

  1. Click the button below to fill out the Secure Intake Form.
  2. I personally review every request to ensure I am the right fit for your needs.
  3. Once verified, you will receive a personal message from me with a link to choose your time slot.

I look forward to hearing your story.

A Personal Promise:
I want you to know that there is no admin team, receptionist, or agency between us. When you fill this out, it comes directly to me, and I am the only person who sees it. I personally handle your information to ensure your privacy is respected from the very first step.

“Psychotherapy is a cyclical process from isolation into relationship.’ It is cyclical because the client, in terror of existential isolation, relates deeply and meaningfully to the therapist and then, strengthened by this encounter, is led back again to a confrontation with existential isolation.”
